Cancellation policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel a subscription purchased on https://www.yourmusictheorycoach.com (the “Site”). It applies to subscription products and services provided by GET MUSIC THEORY ONLINE LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Cancelling a subscription

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Settings menu in your account (once logged in)
  • Cancellation stops future renewals
  • You will keep access until the end of your current paid billing period
  • To avoid a renewal charge, you must cancel before the next billing date shown in your account
  • You are responsible for cancelling before your next billing date if you do not wish to renew

2. If you can’t access your account

If you are unable to access your account, please email us at joey@yourmusictheorycoach.com from the email address linked to the account, and we will assist with cancellation.

3. Refunds

When you purchase a subscription, you authorise automatic renewal at the end of each billing period. You are responsible for cancelling before your next billing date if you do not wish to renew.

Once a renewal payment has been processed:
  • The charge covers the full upcoming billing period
  • Access to the Services remains available for that entire period
  • We do not offer automatic refunds for renewal charges already billed, except where a refund is required by law
  • Cancelling after a renewal has processed stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period

Example: If you have a 1 month subscription that renews on 1 January 2026, and you contact us on 3 January 2026 to cancel, we will cancel future renewals immediately. The payment taken on 1 January covers the period from 1 January 2026 to 31 January 2026, and no automatic refund will be provided. You will retain access until 31 January 2026.

If you are unsure whether you will continue, please cancel before your next billing date shown in your account.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under consumer law, please contact us at joey@yourmusictheorycoach.com with details.

4. Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts)

If you are a Consumer and purchase our Services online, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days in some circumstances. Because our Services include digital content that is made available immediately, the 14-day right to cancel may not apply once access to the digital content has begun.

Nothing in this Cancellation Policy affects your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty or not as described.
